How many floors and guest rooms does your hotel have?
The Soho Grand Hotel stands 18 floors high with 365 luxurious hotel rooms, including two spectacular Penthouse Loft suites with rooftop terraces.
Do you have smoking and non-smoking floors?
Yes, Soho Grand provides designated floors for those who wish to be able to smoke. Simply let us know your preference at the time of reservation or when you check in.
How many guests can a standard room accommodate?
Guest rooms are meant for two. Our most spacious guest room, the Grand Corner King, is the best option for those travelling in groups of 3. Rollaway beds are available upon request.
Do you have guest rooms with double beds?
All Soho Grand guest rooms offer single queen or king-sized beds, but our sister property, Tribeca Grand Hotel, has double-bedded rooms available. Grand Corner King rooms at Soho Grand can accommodate a rollaway bed, which can be provided upon request.
Do your guestrooms have a table and desk suitable for meetings with clients?
While we provide a small desk for casual use in our guest rooms, they were created to provide luxury and comfort on a personal level. Grand Bar & Lounge’s comfortable seating and low tables are a much more suitable venue for meetings with clients or other business needs.
Do you have a guestroom that is big enough to hold a small meeting or conference?
Our Catering & Special Events team is available to help you plan an event, from the smallest gathering to a large conference; they can recommend the ideal space for your event and arrange for catering or other special needs. What are the complimentary guest amenities offered by the hotel?
Our complimentary amenities include 24-hour fitness center, wireless high-speed Internet access in the public areas, iPods, Bose Sound Docks, Power Books, DVD player, Radio/CD player, specially-selected CD library, personal safes, toiletries from the beauty line Malin+Goetz, and our signature pet goldfish.
Are you a pet friendly hotel? If so, what kinds of pets do you allow?
Soho Grand welcomes domesticated, well-behaved animals of all kinds. While pets may not enter the dining areas of our restaurants and lounges, they may accompany guests in the public areas of Grand Bar & Lounge.
What are the pet amenities and services offered by the hotel?
Soho Grand Hotel is proud to provide luxurious accommodations for humans and four-legged companions alike. Special pet amenities include beds, food & water dishes, cushioned pet crates, and doggy biscuits. Those guests whose animals could not join them will enjoy our signature in-room goldfish as a surrogate companion.
*Please note that except for seeing eye-dogs, or any health related assistance, pets are prohibited from entering the restaurants and bars due to health codes. However, your pet is always welcome in the public area of the Grand Bar & Lounge.
Do you have wireless high speed Internet access?
Yes, Soho Grand offers complimentary high speed Internet access in the Grand Bar & Lounge and our public areas. Wireless high speed Internet access is also available in our guestrooms for a small charge of $9.95 for a 24 hour period. We also have Wireless Adaptors that can be loaned from the Front Desk.
What is the most convenient parking at the Soho Grand?
Our valet service is located directly in front of the hotel. Simply drop off your car, and we will arrange for parking in a nearby garage. Valet service charges are based on 24 hour periods with a surcharge for oversized vehicles.
Do you have a fitness centre
Our complimentary 24-hour fitness centre provides stairclimbers, treadmills, free weights, and overhead televisions for entertainment. If guests require more extensive athletic facilities, we have relationships with nearby sports clubs such as Equinox, New York Sports Club and Eastern Athletic Club, all located conveniently within walking distance. The Concierge team assists guest in arranging appointments.
Do you have a pool?
While we do not provide a pool, we are able to provide day passes to nearby sports clubs with pools, including The Equinox and The New York Health & Racquet Club.
Do you have a house doctor?
Yes. Dr. Ronald Primas is the hotel’s house doctor. Dr. Primas is the head of New York’s premier 24 hour and urgent care centre, which also provides house calls and travel medicine (www.travelmd.com). Dr. Primas makes calls to the Soho Grand in addition to providing medical care and advice conveniently within a patient’s room. Dr. Primas is also able to admit patients to the hospital if necessary and serves as the patient’s attending physician.

SoHo stands for “South of Houston (St)” - an upscale residential and commercial neighborhood bordered by Houston St, Canal St, Lafayette St and the Hudson River.
